Live Sound

These are a few of the brands of live sound equipment we carry instore

Speakers

Speakers are transducers that convert electromagnetic waves into sound waves. Speakers are made up of a cone, an iron coil, a magnet, and housing (case). When the speaker receives electrical input from a device, it sends the current through the causing it to move back and forth. This motion then vibrates the outer cone, generating sound waves picked up by our ears.

The Alto TX215 on the left are a bi-amplified 2-way design, with a long-excursion woofer and a 1-inch titanium compression driver in a newly-designed precision horn. 600 Watts peak, 300 Watts continuous Class D power. Lightweight, portable design for main or wedge monitor operation.

Microphones

A microphone is a device that captures audio by converting sound waves into an electrical signal. This signal can be amplified as an analog signal or may be converted to a digital signal, which can be processed by a computer or other digital audio device.

The Sennheiser e835 lead vocal stage mic, designed to perform under pressure. Uniform frequency pick-up pattern maintains signal quality when moving on and off axis during performance. Gentle presence boost to even tonal response ensures clarity and projection. Minimal proximity effect provides consistently clear bass and performance when singing closer to or farther from capsule.

Mixers

An audio mixing desk brings together all of the different instruments and parts ( audio signals ) and merges them together. You can change the parameters of each part as you wish on input including volume, frequency and effects. It then outputs it as a single signal that can be amplified or recorded.

Allen & Heath Qu-16 reshapes digital mixing, combining innovative design and exceptional functionality to create a superb professional mixing experience.  series features include multitrack recording direct to USB, Automatic Mic Mixing, ProFactory mic presets, plus an ever growing ecosystem of apps, accessories and remote I/O.
