Brenda Meiring Theory

Sedert 1996 bied sy tersiêre opleiding by verskeie instansies aan, is betrokke by optredes en werk as vryskut komponis. In 2008 aanvaar sy ‘n pos by Musieksentrum Monumentpark.
BSM Publications was established in 2010.
Identifying a need in the market for fun Afrikaans music theory books for young beginners, the concept for the ‘Pret-werkboek’-series was born.
Initially comprising 4 theory books, the series expanded to include the current range of 10 theory books as well as 3 additional tutor, song, and activity books. By popular demand from book sellers and music teachers, the whole series was also translated into English.
We are also currently exploring and expanding our range into other fields such as sing-along books, while staying true to our vision of quality child education through music and play.
